Snacks and smart food for children and youngsters
Though the habit of eating all the time is not considered to be a good one but still it would prove to be beneficial for the children. For children, especially the growing ones, there is a scientific reason behind this. They are the one who have very higher rate metabolism going inside the body. The timely food is very necessary but the snacks (not hard core fast foods) taken in between helps in providing other nutritious values and proteins. These part-time snacks fulfill about 10% to 15% of the body’s demand apart from the food.
Other view regarding this can be that as the digestive process along with the metabolism is faster in the people of younger age as compared to older aged people, such eating habits does not harm the digestion process, infact keeps the system perfect by timely work. As we know that people who are a bit aged have digestive problems as frequent constipation or loose motions, due to their weaker system they are not advised to do so.
Sandwich that lasts for 14 days
Now, no need to go to Mac.D or KFC everytime, you feel hungry.
You can have a single sandwich that can last for 2 weeks. The scientists had prepared a sandwich that can remain healthy for 2 weeks without spoilage. There was no difference in the taste as compared of the first day and the 14th day. It was prepared in London.
The technique applied behind this was that the food is kept in such a way so that there is minimum deterioration in it. This is done by increasing slightly acidic nature of food, which prevents bacterial and other micro-organisms growth. Highly perishable ingredients as lettuce and tomatoes are not used.
Another applied science behind this is that the packaging is done in such a way to stop the air exchange and air fleshing process which replaces oxygen by carbon dioxide and nitrogen, which helps in growth of micro-organisms. This is also the basic of packaging of sliced meats.
Thus, this food has a balanced ingredients and nice packing which gives it a long life.
